The hosts of the evening celebrated the tenth wedding anniversary, which became the opportunity to continue the family charitable tradition. During the ball, money for the purchase of an ambulance for the Poviat Hospital in Bochnia was raised. The ambulance will be handed over by the Princes Lubomirski Foundation. We would like to remind you that the money raised at the first ball, illustrated account of which appeared on our pages, was donated to the building of the centre for children with cerebral palsy. The second ball supported the purchase of a CAT scanner for detecting cancers among the youngest patients. - “The Princes Lubomirski Foundation conducts educational, social and academic activities, simultaneously supporting specialized institutions as well as setting up their own ones. It is currently cooperating with the Wilanów Palace Museum and supporting renovation of historical monuments in the town of Wiśnicz and its vicinity. Together with the Foundation of the Cracow University of Economics it creates the Joint Council, whose primary aim is to award the Prince Aleksander Lubomirski scholarships for poor students coming from the former Borderland of the Republic of Poland. It co-finances the Szreniawa Sports Club from Wiśnicz. It began work on long-term projects, that is financing computer rooms for the most needy schools. Plans for the future include the opening of the centre providing support for persons who face the problem of domestic violence, as well as the continuation of the project of equipping schools with modern computer rooms” – informs Małgorzata Herde.
