THE GIFT OF THE PRINCES LUBOMIRSKI FOUNDATION
The Princes Lubomirski Foundation officially handed over the ambulance to the authorities of the Poviat Hospital in Bochnia. The event took place on the 27th of December 2012 in the courtyard in front of the institution.
Among the guests invited were, among others, Stefan Kolawiński, the mayor of Bochnia; Jacek Pająk, the staroste of Bochnia and Stanisław Gaworczyk, the mayor of Nowy Wiśnicz.
The vehicle given is the transport ambulance made on the basis of Volkswagen Transporter Furgon, with the engine 2.0 TDI and four-wheel drive. It was additionally equipped with, among others, fog lights, burglar alarm, electrically adjustable mirrors, central locking, high roof, air-conditioning, heater, radio and extra battery.
The money for the purchase was raised at the Charity Ball which was held at the Castle in Wiśnicz to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the wedding of Jan Lubomirski – Lanckoroński and Dominika Kulczyk – Lubomirska.
Asked by the family, friends, acquaintances what we would like to get, we realized that much more pleasure for us would be to give than get. This way we recognized that as the gift we would ask the guests to present, together with us, others with something that may come in handy instead of presenting us. The ambulance is just something like that which – please God - will serve many people for many years – said Dominika Kulczyk-Lubomirska.
